I’m Sam-r, a Syrian-born hip-hop artist based in Toronto. My journey with music began in the Middle East, where I discovered my passion for the arts and earned diplomas in Music Production and Sound Design. As war engulfed my home, I was forced to leave, seeking a new beginning in Canada.

In 2017, I arrived as a refugee, and the following year, I released my debut album, Death of a Saint, a raw reflection of my journey and resilience. Since then, I’ve performed across Toronto, built a community of creatives, and continued evolving my sound—pushing boundaries with every beat.
