Sam-r is a Toronto-based artist of Lebanese-Syrian heritage whose music fuses the raw storytelling of hip-hop with the soul and grit of the blues. Known for his rare combination of live drumming and rapping, Sam-r brings an emotional depth to his performances that reflect the struggles, strength, and triumphs of his immigrant experience.

 

His latest release, Dystopia, is a powerful and deeply reflective track exploring the weight of modern existence. Through vivid imagery and introspective lyricism, Sam-r captures the duality of hope and despair that defines today’s world.
